Spring into Romance Giveaway

Happy Spring!

What type of books do you like reading this time of year? Fun and flirty? Mysterious and sexy? Non-Fiction?

I’m excited about the new novel from TF Walsh: Fallen Ashes

Fallen AshLast of your kind? Check. Being hunted by everyone? Check. Waking up magically bound to the world’s most cocky and annoying assassin? Wait, what?

Survival has always been on the top of Fallen’s To Do List as being the last Dragon shifter in Tapestry had painted a target on her long ago. But after being captured and magically tethered to an assassin who could kill her in an instant, time is running out. With the fate of an entire world at stake, Fallen has to find a way to get out alive, with or without her unwanted companion…her incredibly sexy unwanted companion.

Exiled from the Kingdom and on a mission to save his stepfather from the Collector, Saber’s life is already a mess. But he never could imagine that he’d be hexed into a mindless shadow assassin or worse, being kidnapped and mystically-bound to a hot blonde vixen that has a crazy obsession with fire. Sexy/strange/fire-chick aside, he has got to find a way to get out of there but Fallen isn’t in the least being helpful with their escape plan. Seriously, can things get any worse?

Magically-bound, determined, and both fighting an undeniable attraction, can Saber and Fallen work together to free themselves and save their world by defeating the Collector? Or will time slip out of their grasp and all will be lost?

Giveaway:

I’m giving an ebook copy of Fallen – Book 2 Claimed series. To win, just comment on your whatever novel you can’t wait to read this spring.

Andrea R. Cooper writes fantasy, paranormal, historical and romantic suspense.

Her favorite childhood memories revolved around creating vibrant characters for her friends, and then acting out their adventures. Inside her fantasy worlds of darkened forests, dragon-filled glades, and iced islands, nothing was banned. From the ethereal Elvin to the most maligned Vampires, all were welcome in her fictional realities, a stark contrast to her home, where the magical and mythical was forbidden.

Hello my name is…Blog Hop

my name is

We’re ringing in the New Year with lots of giveaways! And by sharing some fun and wacky facts about ourselves. There’s a new giveaway at each stop so be sure to visit them all! (link at bottom of this post)

5 Quirky Things about me:

1) I love playing video games – dungeon crawler/ hack-n-slash. But with a full time job, family, and my writing, I haven’t had much time to play 😦

2) I have a chocolate/ sugar addiction. Like I can turn away junk food until someone brings desserts – but I can’t stand Milky Way candy bars.

3) I usually repeat things/stories aloud to my husband, family, and friends three times and use the same verbiage. Don’t know why and I don’t realize I’m doing it until someone responds, “you’ve told me this before.”

4) Even though I love reading, I can’t re-read another author’s book. I’ve tried even re-reading my favorites and I just loose interest because I already know the story.

5) I’m not afraid of mice, spiders (unless poisonous), snakes (unless poisonous), tame rats, gerbils or hamsters. However, I hate roaches and wasps – and sharks

And now time for a Giveaway:

Comment below on your favorite or not so favorite thing (animal, quirky trait, etc.) and be entered to win an ebook copy of the following:

“You should wear blouses like that more often. It suits you.” He unleashed a tendril of power. Most women would turn from anger to near swooning from this much.

“Thank you.” She leaned forward and licked her lips.

He didn’t realize it would take so little to get on her good side. “And that skirt shows off your legs beautifully.”

“You think so?” She turned her leg as if to get a better view. “I worried it would be too short.”

“No, it’s just the right length.” He swallowed as heat set his blood pumping.

“You look amazing…in that color.” A faint blush colored her cheeks as she leaned closer, her eyes darkening. “Want to tell me more… alone?”

Now he was getting somewhere. Why did he think this was going to be hard? He was nearly five thousand years old Incubus. No woman could resist him. “I don’t think I can wait the long ride back to camp.” He traced her hand with his finger. “Let’s get a hotel room and let Travis pick us up in the morning. Late.”

“Damon.” A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. “You’re too predictable.” She pulled her hand away and stood. “Pizzas are ready. You guys finished?”

“What?” How did she go from scorching hot to formal in a blink?

But Renee didn’t answer him. She sauntered up to the counter and paid for the food while he gawked at her. Was I just played? Impossible. That’s never happened to me… ever.

Happy Halloween! Here’s an excerpt from my favorite fairytale involving a pumpkin, Fairy Trouble

available now for pre-order, released on November 9th and features 4 fairytale re-tellings by 4 different authors.

Modern MagicWhat if Cinderella ditched the prince’s ball and sent her fairy godmother to find love in her place?

Excerpt:

Esmeralda hovered lower and caught a whiff of cinnamon and baking bread and sighed. Food was one of the things she envied about humans. So many choices and such wonderful aromas. A few times, she’d tried to deviate from her diet of honey and flower nectars but regretted it, retching for days afterward. Lowering down, she paused outside a bakery with its doors open, and the smells wafting from inside made her place a hand over her stomach.

She closed her eyes briefly, indulging in the mouthwatering scents. Transforming into human-size, she wondered if just a nibble or a lick of icing would make her bemoan it later. She kept her invisibility shield up, debating, when a solid weight suddenly smacked into her back, and she crumbled to the ground. Her shield shattered.

“Oooaf. Sorry about that,” a man in a baker’s apron said. “I didn’t see you there.” A tray full of cinnamon rolls and muffins had spilled out onto the street. “Are you okay?” The man rose and offered her a hand.

“Y-you can see me?” she asked, her voice squeaking.

“Well, now I can.” Icing clung to his apron and other stains were smeared across the front. Most of the stains appeared newly made. She’d made a mess of his food.

“Sorry. I can fix this.” Where was her wand? She glanced around. It had pierced a muffin.

“A little early for a costume party.” He bent down and returned the salvageable muffins— the ones that hadn’t landed face down on the sidewalk— to the tray.
