Stranger Things – Season 2
Hubby and I stayed up late to watch the last two emposides of Stranger Things 2. It had all the greatness of Season 1 and ended with sweet scenes from the main characters but still some unswered questions which I’m sure will open up in the next season.
And just in case you’d like to know, below is the list of Dungeon & Dragon characters and the Stranger Things kids:
El (Eleven) – Mage
Mike – Paladin
Will – Cleric
Dustin’s – Bard
Lucas – Ranger
Max – Zoomer (a modifie
The only down thing about this season was a semi-borring emposide where El goes to find her ‘sister’ number 8/Kali. I know why they did this to show El using advice when she fights the Mind Slayer, but I think it would’ve been better to have Hopper help her with this and strengthen their bond rather than toss this girl Kali into the mix only to have her dissapear.
It would’ve also been cool if they’d brought out El learning about her sister toward the end of the season as a teaser for Season 3.
***Spoiler Alert ****
Also, the end with El fighting the Mind Flayer, it just watches her while she seals it up. Sure a few demo-dogs return and Hopper shoots them, but nothing too harrowing outside of that. Why? The creature fought harder all the other times. Is El going to be on it’s list to possess? What havoc could it do then to the town…to the world.
Still, the season kept me up late and looking forward to finding out what happens next.
My rating 4.8 stars out of 5
Andrea R. Cooper writes fantasy, paranormal, and historical romance.
Her favorite childhood memories revolved around creating vibrant characters for her friends and then acting out their adventures. Inside her fantasy worlds of darkened forests, dragon-filled glades, and iced islands, nothing was banned. From the ethereal Elvin to the most maligned Vampires, all were welcome in her fictional realities, a stark contrast to her home, where the magical and mythical was forbidden.
