Lyric – Book 2.5 – A paranormal Romance #99cents
No man can resist a siren’s song…
Half-siren/Half-succubus Cassie must convince a CEO to give her interior decorating company a chance at his offices in order to stay in the black. But even after using her persuasive voice, he refuses. What can she do to change his mind?
Daniel Davis has a secret he’s paid hundreds of thousands to keep that way. Now when exotic Cassie marches into his office, he can’t stop thinking about her and makes her an offer. Be his date for a high-profile party and he’ll consider her company for his office redecorating project.
After an accident, Cassie gives Daniel her blood to heal him. Trouble is, if she can’t keep him alive, he’ll become a soulless ghoul.
Worse, someone is out to kill him. Can Cassie keep him alive…both in fighting her nature and from whoever is after him?
“Remind me why I’m doing this again?” Cassie crossed her legs and her leather chair squeaked underneath her. Bored with sitting on the edge of the sea, waiting to lure a lone sailor to his doom, she’d created her own interior design firm. This was the one place she felt she belonged. Being half siren/half succubus meant she didn’t fit in either world.
“Miss Smith,” the IRS agent said, “according to my records, your corporation hasn’t paid taxes in seven years. Your debt far outweighs your means and—”
“You must be mistaken, sir.” Cassie reached across the desk to take the folders from him, her hand brushing his on purpose.
“I’m afraid not.”
With a sigh, she leaned back. Why did she ever think her touch would work like it did for her succubus cousins? Pretending to shuffle through the files, she hummed under her breath. Immediately, the guy’s eyes glazed over.

Andrea R. Cooper writes fantasy, paranormal, historical and romantic suspense.
Her favorite childhood memories revolved around creating vibrant characters for her friends, and then acting out their adventures. Inside her fantasy worlds of darkened forests, dragon-filled glades, and iced islands, nothing was banned. From the ethereal Elvin to the most maligned Vampires, all were welcome in her fictional realities, a stark contrast to her home, where the magical and mythical was forbidden.
