Movie Review – X-Men: Apocalypse

X-Men: Apocalypse

A powerful mutant from ancient Egypt is resurrected. He has the ability to enhance a mutant and their power. He selects four mutants to be his ‘four horsemen’. Xavier and the other mutants fight to stop him from taking over the world.

Lots of action and SciFi effects in this movie. However, the ending had a few plot holes.

I did like Apocalypse words at the end…sorry, you’ll have to watch the movie 🙂  Here’s a hint though, it sets the foundation for the next movie.

“In May 2016, Simon Kinberg said the next X-Men film would be set in the 1990s. He additionally acknowledged the possibility of re-adapting “The Dark Phoenix Saga“, which had been adapted in the original X-Men film trilogy, and said the post-credits scene mentioning the Essex Corporation was related to Logan, and that it could have ties to Gambit as well as the following X-Men film. Bryan Singer said he would be interested in having the villain Proteus in an X-Men film. He also said he will be stepping away from the franchise but could envision returning to it at a later date in some capacity.”1

Andrea R. Cooper writes fantasy, paranormal, historical and romantic suspense.

Her favorite childhood memories revolved around creating vibrant characters for her friends, and then acting out their adventures. Inside her fantasy worlds of darkened forests, dragon-filled glades, and iced islands, nothing was banned. From the ethereal Elvin to the most maligned Vampires, all were welcome in her fictional realities, a stark contrast to her home, where the magical and mythical was forbidden.
